Some days you don’t. Unfortunately, today was one of the latter.
I turned off my alarm.
Woke up 2 hours late {6:30 instead of 4:30} so I couldn’t fit in cardio.
I also couldn’t shower in time. Don’t smell me.
Which means a baseball cap it was today.
And breakfast on my way out the door, instead of getting to sit & enjoy it.
I love my mornings.
I have come to NEED my mornings.
So let’s just say the day proceeded in a way that made me a tad grumpy. Ok, maybe more than a tad.
And after work?! Don’t even get me started..
I ended up at the gym 2 hours later than I had anticipated. Seems to be a theme today?
So what did I do? I blasted some music & worked it out on the dance floor – otherwise known as the group exercise room that was unoccupied at the time. Sometimes we just gotta let loose a little to push through don’t you think?
The day could have been a lot worse – if I let it. But today, I was not going to let that happen. Today, I chose to practice patience, and gratitude, and appreciation for the little things.
Like I always say, it’s the little things in life right?
